Labourer with Truck Licence and Machinery Experience

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Labourer who has a current Truck (MR) Licence and some plant/machinery experience to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position that is suitable for an individual with hands on experience in the landscaping/earth moving industries and who is looking to take that next step in their career to a leadership role.

Based on your experience you will work closely with the Supervisor to organise resourcing and provide direction to a small work crew. You will be a point of contact for customers and contractors onsite, providing technical advice and solutions as required.

The role requires the successful candidate to work closely with our internal team, clients, contractors and suppliers. Strong communication skills, the ability to work effectively within a team and a professional and courteous manner are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Operation of licenced plant and equipment - truck, bobcat

Ensure tools, plant and equipment required for works is available and well maintained.

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner, providing excellent customers outcome.

Liaise with the office to provide updates on project delivery and feedback on planning and scheduling.

Ensure that work is being carried out correctly, efficiently and to schedule.

Ensure that all installation work is performed in accordance with industry & company standards.

Ensure HSE procedures/standards are adhered to.

Based on experience provide guidance and direction to a small team

The successful candidate must have

experience in the landscaping and/or earth moving industries or similar.

minimum MR Driver’s Licence (HR desirable)

Skid Steer ticket

current First Aid certificate

Construction Safety Awareness (White) Card

a professional, flexible and hands-on approach to work

the ability to work as part of a team, providing direction and guidance

strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to engage and liaise with the team and various stakeholders
