An exciting opportunity exists for an Intermediate or Senior Accountant to join a reputable Chartered Accounting firm in North Sydney. This role offers excellent training and mentorship from experienced professionals, and a vibrant, supportive environment for professional development.

You’ll work closely with a dynamic team, gaining exposure to a diverse client portfolio including SMEs, high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), family groups, and large private companies. Main Duties:

Preparation and analysis of financial statements and tax returns for all entities including – individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts

Deal with various tax matters including GST, CGT, FBT, Division 7A and more.

liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies

Collaborate with experienced accountants for strategic client advice.

Oversee a client portfolio and foster strong client relationships.

Stay updated Australian taxation laws

About you:

Minimum of 2-3+ years' accounting experience in public practice in Australia.

Experience with Xero, MYOB & other accounting software.

Completed/pursuing CA/CPA

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Bachelor degree in accounting or relevant field
