Your Role
We're looking for a dedicated and skilled Case Worker to support clients participating in our Day Recovery Program. You will be delivering high-quality case management, facilitating group sessions, and providing therapeutic support. This is a unique opportunity to work as part of a passionate team helping people build healthier, more stable lives.
Your Responsibility
Provide case management across all stages: engagement, assessment, treatment planning, implementation, monitoring, and closure
Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions and education, in line with the Society's AOD Model of Care
Conduct comprehensive client assessments, including risk evaluations
Develop and implement tailored, client-led treatment plans
Facilitate therapeutic and educational group sessions
Support families and significant others through education and referrals
Maintain accurate and timely client records, participate in case reviews
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Day Recovery Program
Build strong relationships with external service providers and stakeholders
Support and mentor new staff, volunteers, and students
Profile description:
You Will Need
Tertiary qualification (or working towards) in Alcohol and Other Drugs, Community Services, Counselling, Psychology, or a related field (e.g. Certificate IV or Diploma)
Experience in case management with clients facing complex challenges (e.g. co-occurring mental health, homelessness, or justice system involvement)
Strong understanding of local community services and ability to coordinate client support
Professional, ethical, and non-judgmental approach
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Basic computer skills and familiarity with client data systems
A current and valid NSW driver's licence
