About the role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Planning Administrator to join our dynamic team at Wollongong Granny Flats Pty Ltd'. This full-time role will be based in our Corrimal , NSW office or the option to work from home and will play a crucial part in supporting our design and planning and construction scheduling processes.

What you'll be doing

Prepare documentation relating to design and planning for submission of Development Application ( DA ) and Complying Development Certificates ( CDC) for residential construction projects

Manage projects through the design and planning lifecycle

Liase with consultants including - Architectural drafts people, Engineers, Council's . Private Certifiers, Tradespeople .

Manage multiple projects at a time

Electronic Lodgment of Development Applications & Complying Development Certificate

Coordinate and schedule meetings with project stakeholders

Track and monitor project progress, identifying and resolving issues or delays

Prepare and distribute regular progress reports

Provide administrative support to the project team

Maintain accurate records and documentation

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our design and planning processes

What we're looking for

A person who adds value to what they do

Proven experience in a similar planning or administrative role within the construction industry

Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a planning or administrative role within the construction industry

Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels

Proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite including -Word, Excell & Outlook

Meticulous attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset

Familiarity with construction methods, terminology, and industry regulations

Must be willing to undergo a police background check and provide relevant employment references
