About the role We are looking for a Nurse to help shape this exciting role across our two locations - our established Victoria Park clinic and our upcoming Cockburn clinic (opening February 2025). We are looking for someone who is invested in going above and beyond, delivering emotionally intelligent customer service and patient care that aligns with our culture and values of creating centers of excellence in general practice.

The core purpose of your role is to ensure the patient is supported throughout their journey. You need to balance your clinical knowledge and passion for patient-centric care whilst managing the patient flow, so that each patient receives seamless and supportive care with a focus on health outcomes.

We are looking for someone to work 64 hours per fortnight. Must be available:

Tuesday (10am - 6pm)

Wednesday (9am - 5pm)

Thursday (9am - 5pm)

Friday (8am-5pm)

About you

You should be flexible, empathetic, driven, hardworking, be a good listener and willing to work in a team. You should have an intrinsic desire to care for people, by nature, promise and skill. Preferably, 1 year of General Practice Registered Nurse experience, however we are committed to training and developing the right applicant. In summary, you will need to have the natural ability to seamlessly support patients throughout their journey, with a strong focus on health outcomes and time management.

Clinical responsibilities:

Clinical nursing - triage, emergency, wound care

Promote health and preventative care

Health assessments - over 75, 40-49 at risk, ATSI

GP management plans

Immunisations, child & adult

Surgical assist, procedures - e.g. skin lesions and IUDs,

Diagnostic services - clinical obs,

ECG,

Spirometry

Stock control

Hazardous waste management/infection control

Recalls, population health

Work with our caring and supportive doctors to assist their care of our patients, courteously and helpfully

Ensure results and recalls are monitored and actioned.
