About the role

We are looking for a Cattery Assistant to join our team at Vacation cat resort in Doonan, Sunshine coast. This is a casual role at approximately 4-8hrs per week that will involve providing excellent care and attention to our feline guests while their owners are away. As a Cattery Assistant, you will be an integral part of ensuring our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay with us.

What you'll be doing

Cleaning and maintaining the cattery facilities to the highest standards of hygiene

Providing exceptional customer service to our guests' owners

Attending to the daily care and feeding of our cat guests

Maintaining detailed records of each cat's stay and their individual needs

What we're looking for

LOVE of cats and Knowledge of cat behavior, nutrition and healthcare

Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures

High level of cleaning ability, sense of smell and be prepared to get down and scrub the floor when required.

Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-service oriented attitude

Weekend availability preferably with some flexibility to work a variety of shifts

Australian drivers license

A Certificate III in Animal Studies or equivalent qualification is highly desirable but not essential
