We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Fitter to join our night shift team at a fast-paced, high-volume food processing facility. This is an autonomous role, ideal for a mechanically minded professional with strong experience in high-speed food or beverage manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine and emergency maintenance on food processing equipment (ovens, mixers, packing machines, etc.)

Diagnose mechanical faults quickly and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime

Operate independently during night shifts, with remote support from the broader maintenance team

Ensure all maintenance work meets safety, hygiene, and food industry compliance standards

Accurately document maintenance and repair activities

About You
Trade-qualified Fitter with current certifications

Proven experience in food or beverage manufacturing is highly regarded

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and high-speed processing machinery

Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously on night shifts

Familiar with HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards

Excellent troubleshooting and attention to detail
