About the role

Horsley Kids is seeking a passionate and experienced Childcare Diploma to join our dedicated team in Horsley Park, NSW. As a part-time role, this position will involve working with a team of childcare professionals to deliver exceptional care and development opportunities for the children in our centre.

What you'll be doing

Overseeing the daily operations and smooth running of your designated room, ensuring high-quality care and educational programs

Leading, mentoring and supporting a team of childcare educators to foster their professional growth

Developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities that stimulate and engage the children

Maintaining strong relationships with families, communicating regularly about their child's progress and needs

Ensuring compliance with all relevant childcare regulations, policies and procedures

Contributing to the overall continuous improvement of the childcare centre

What we're looking for

A completed Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

A deep understanding of childcare best practices, curriculum development and behaviour guidance

Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality, nurturing care that supports each child's unique developmental needs

A passion for early childhood education and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on young lives
