Platypus swim school is a boutique family run swim school, specializing in teaching kids from 18months-8 year-olds in a warm indoor 32C pool. Our school has been open for almost 40 years and has great reputation in the area

We can offer a training program for a right candidate, so you feel comfortable presenting our program to the clients

We’ll definitely need a teacher for Thursday morning (8.00am- 12.30pm), but will have more opportunities for a right candidate

Qualifications & experience

-AUSTSWIM, Swim Australia qualifications or equivalent; -Experience teaching kids aged 18months-10years old; -Working with Children check; -First Aid; -CPR Certificate

Tasks & responsibilities

-Instructing baby classes from 16-18 months old; -Strokes development and corrections; -Liaising with parents of children; -Monitor safety of the kids while teaching; -Creating lesson plans, making sure kids keep progressing through out the course; -Being able to think outside the box
