Hodus Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Carpenter to join our team. This is a full-time role offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects within a supportive and professional environment.

The successful applicant will bring hands-on carpentry experience, a strong understanding of construction methods, and the ability to interpret plans and specifications to deliver high-quality work on time and up to standards.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

· Interpret construction drawings and specifications to identify required materials, dimensions, and installation methods.

· Order and select appropriate timbers and construction materials; prepare accurate job layouts.

· Cut, shape, and assemble timber and other materials using hand and power tools to construct frameworks and fixtures.

· Install external structural elements and lay sub-flooring and floorboards with precision.

· Assemble prefabricated wood and timber components for on-site installation.

· Create and fit various types of wood joints with precision to ensure structural integrity.

· Use a variety of tools and machinery efficiently whilst exercising safety precautions.

· May perform repairs and maintenance on existing timber structures and fittings.

Skills & Experience:

· Certificate III in Carpentry, or at least 3 years of experience relevant to the position in lieu of qualifications

· Proficient knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and tools

· Competent in reading and interpreting plans and technical drawings.
