The role

We’re hiring for multiple roles on a complex, high-visibility Navy program based in Adelaide, SA. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to a strategically significant initiative in collaboration with a specialist UK partner.

We’re looking for professionals with expertise in:

Ø Complex project management

Ø Systems engineering

Ø System dynamics

Ø Dynamic modelling

Experience in the maritime domain and familiarity with Defence’s design phases is highly regarded—but not essential.

Other Important Information to existing Defence and APS members - This role is classified as ‘Below the Line’ and is open to current APS and ADF personnel, as well as individuals within 12 months of transitioning from service.

Essential criteria

5 Years plus experience in complex project management, system engineering, system dynamics, or dynamic modelling.

Must have a current (active) an NV1 or above Security Clearance.

Exceptional emotional intelligence and people skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

A positive, collaborative attitude with common sense, and a client-focused approach to your work.

Desirable criteria

Prior experience working with Navy or in the maritime domain.

Prior experience working with Defence’s design phases in Defence Industry.

Experience with dynamic systems and system modelling.

Location

This role is based in Adelaide, SA, with up to four positions available.

One to two roles may be based in Melbourne, with regular travel to Adelaide. Adelaide-based applicants are preferred.

Work Arrangements: This role requires 2 to 3 days per week working onsite with the client. The remaining time can be worked remotely from home or from our centrally located city office—offering flexibility to suit your working style.
