About the role

Torrisi's Delights' is seeking a skilled Pastry-cook to join our team in Strathpine, Queensland. As a casual pastry-cook, you will be responsible for creating delectable baked goods and desserts that delight our customers. What you'll be doing

Preparing and baking a variety of pastries, cakes, and other desserts using high-quality ingredients

Ensuring all baked goods meet Torrisi's Delights' high standards for taste, presentation, and consistency

Collaborating with the kitchen team to develop new and innovative pastry offerings

Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all food safety and hygiene protocols

Providing excellent customer service and assisting with counter service as needed

What we're looking for

Formal training or qualifications in pastry-making or baking, with at least 2 years of relevant experience

Demonstrated expertise in preparing a wide range of pastries, cakes, and desserts

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality baked goods

Strong time management and multitasking skills to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
