About the role

We are seeking experienced Tilt Tray Operators / Drivers to join our team at Queensland Heavy Transport. Our office is based in Darra and we service all areas of Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and beyond.

We have the following positions available:

HR Trade Driver (moving machinery & equipment in dual axle Bogie tilt tray)

MR Trade Driver (moving machinery & equipment in single axle tilt tray)

Car Carrier position for our sister company (MR Licence and transport of brand new vehicles between dealerships.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate tilt tray trucks to pick up and deliver a range of Machinery & Equipment for our Hire Company customers.

Load and unload Machinery in a professional and efficient manner

Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations and company policies

Maintain accurate records of jobs, vehicle usage and logbook entries

Liaise with clients and other stakeholders in a courteous and professional manner

What we're looking for

A current MR or HR class driver's licence

Excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to safety

Good communication and interpersonal abilities

Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team

Sound knowledge of load restraint and safe driving practices

Experience in the industry is preferred however full training is provided and we are
