Your opportunity
The Enrolled Nurse provides nursing services within Waroona Multipurpose Centre in Charleville under direct or indirect supervision of registered nurse/midwives to provide meaningful person-centred care in the health service. Successful Enrolled Nurses must demonstrate competence in the provision of nursing care in a residential care environment.
The very nature of what we do and who we are is the real opportunity. Providing health care in the bush is full of challenges, however, it remains the most rewarding of human experiences.
Charleville is a designated Remote Area Nursing Incentive Package (RANIP) site in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health) Award – State 2015. This attracts additional entitlements which may include:
- An annual isolation bonus paid annually!
- Return airfares to the nearest provincial city in conjunction with leave!
- Additional annual leave per annum!
Please note: Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) implications may apply, it is recommended that individuals seek independent financial advice.
Escape the city crowds and discover the red dirt wonderland where the skies are as big as the characters you will meet. Charleville is the largest town in South West Queensland, situated on the banks of the Warrego River in the heart of Mulga Country. Charleville is a reminder that the good things in life shouldn't be hurried, it's a chance to embrace the simple things in life and a celebration of community spirit with the annual Charleville Cup Races the highlight of summer.
