About the role

Gillingham Constructions is looking for a reliable and hardworking labourer to assist with the construction of sheds, concreting and other projects across the Darling Downs - travel away for short periods may be required at times.

What you'll be doing

Assisting skilled tradespeople with construction tasks such as shed building, renovations, concreting and more!

Operating basic tools and equipment safely and effectively

Performing general site maintenance and cleaning duties

Following all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment

Working closely with the team to ensure project deadlines are met

What we're looking for

A positive, hardworking attitude and willingness to learn

Some previous experience in a concreting & shed construction (desirable but not essential)

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Good communication and problem-solving skills

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Own tools (desirable but not essential)

Construction White Card

Commitment to workplace health and safety

Hourly rate negotiable depending on experience.
