Padua College is an independent Catholic boys' day school for Years 5-12, conducted by the Franciscan Friars, with an enrolment of over 1,500 students. We are actively seeking a Catering Assistant to join the team on a casual basis. The Catering Assistant will provide essential support to the Catering Chef and the broader food services team.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Preparation and assembly of simple food items including but not limited to sandwiches, wraps, and fruit cups.

Assist with over the counter serving of staff and students during breaks, including handling payments through our point-of-sale service.

Partake in general cleaning duties within a kitchen, food preparation area, cold and storerooms, including the cleaning of cooking and general utensils used in the kitchen.

Assist with maintaining adequate stock levels to meet daily and weekly menu requirements; including supporting the stocktake of stock, under the direct supervision of the Catering Chef.

To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

• Previous experience within in a similar role.
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• A proven ability to work as part of a small team in a fast-paced work environment
