The Role

As a Retail Team Member, you will be the face of the business dealing directly with local customers, assisting with sales, stock replenishment, and developing a strong sales standard within the community.

We are looking for a Full-Time Retail Team Member, to commence immediately at our new Naracoorte Mitre 10 store, with potential to work weekends.

While previous retail/hardware knowledge is advantageous; we ensure we provide plenty of on the job and product knowledge training for someone new to their first role or into the retail industry.

Responsibilities include:

Provide GREAT service and advise customers on hardware products and services

Build relationships with customers and be able to identify their needs

Prepare customer quotes

Manage stock levels, minimise shrinkage and stock loss

WHS and housekeeping

Requires skills and attributes:

Sales background highly desirable

Ability to identify and prioritise requirements

Strong interpersonal skills and able to work within a team

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly

Strong understanding of WHS requirements

Successful completion of a pre-employment medical (including drug & alcohol testing)
