About the role

We are seeking an qualified Bricklayer/Blocklayer to join our growing team at Cortez Construction Co' in Perth, WA. As a fulltime team member, you will play a vital role in the construction of commercial, civil and public space projects using your expertise in masonry to deliver high-quality craftsmanship.

What you'll be doing

Lay bricks, blocks, stone other masonry materials to construct walls of all types

Read and interpret plans, and specifications to ensure accurate and compliant work

Operate power tools and machinery safely and efficiently

Collaborate with other teammates to coordinate work and ensure a quality construction process

Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols

Mentor and train apprentices or less experienced team members

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Bricklayer/Blocklayer in the construction industry

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and meeting deadlines

Current driver's licence and your own reliable transportation

Other work tickets or machinery training is a plus
