This fast-growing crypto startup is on a mission to revolutionize the industry. With a dynamic team and a rapidly evolving business, they are looking for an experienced IT Operations Manager to look after networks, identity and access, security, and service day to day technology operational requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Network Architecture – Maintain and develop wired and wireless networks (Ruckus, VLAN segmentation, dynamic PSK, QoS, LAGs, firewall policy, SAML‑backed WireGuard VPN) to support multiple security-conscious teams.
• Access Control & Identity – Lead the rollout and ongoing administration of a modern, physical access‑control system, including IdP integrations, group policy design, alerting, and user sync across multiple organisations.
• Video Surveillance & Intrusion Detection – Evaluate and deploy a CCTV platform (possibly Meraki MV, Vivotek Vortex) and an alarm panel that integrates with access control; own camera coverage design, access control integration, and alert routing.
• High‑Security Equipment & Storage – Implement access policies and mechanisms for sensitive hardware and physical assets.
• AV & Meeting Systems – Audit and evaluate AV systems (Apple TV, Sonos), implement meeting‑room booking panels, document and support usage for multiple orgs.
• Operational Support & Documentation – Provide Tier‑2 support for staff onboarding/offboarding and incident response; build dashboards/alerting for network, UPS, and physical security systems; maintain detailed runbooks.

Requirements
You are a very hands on, proactive and versatile IT Operations Manager who is prepared to roll up their sleeves and deal with a broad range of needs on a day to day basis.

• 5+ years in corporate IT, network management, or physical security integration.
• Proven expertise with IP networking (routers, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs) and wireless (Ruckus, dynamic PSK, 802.1X).
• Hands‑on administration of cloud‑managed access control platforms (Kisi preferred) and identity providers (Google Workspace, Okta).
• Experience deploying and managing CCTV and VMS solutions (Meraki MV, Vivotek, or similar) and integrating them with access control and alarms.
• Familiarity with intrusion‑detection/alarm panels, UPS power design, and SNMP‑based monitoring.
• Comfort scripting and using APIs (Python/Typescript) to automate provisioning and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑organisation coordination.

Nice‑to‑Have

• Exposure to crypto or fintech environments OR rapidly growing SME.
• Working knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001 Annex A physical controls, SOC 2, PCI DSS) and evidence collection.
• Some knowledge of corporate device management (MDMs, Apple Business Manager, inventory management systems)
