The role
You will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of supplier invoices and payments in accordance with Gippsland Water’s purchasing policy, internal controls, and government requirements. Working closely with the Finance Officer and the broader Finance team, you’ll ensure that service providers are paid promptly and accurately, while delivering excellent support to both internal teams and external suppliers.
What you’ll bring
Experience in accounts payable processes
Proven ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with a positive, can-do approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal teams and external suppliers
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word and experience using financial systems
