We are a small, friendly and service orientated business based in Narangba and serving the Greater Brisbane Region, including Sunshine Coast, Ipswich and Gold Coast. Due to our prompt, friendly and professional service we are continually expanding and currently require an experienced driver who is keen to help grow the company and in turn their career.

JOB SUMMARY

The position involves loading, transporting, unloading and tipping skip bins for the domestic, commercial, construction and demolition industries, as well as general tasks including vehicle upkeep, bin repairs, and yard duties to name a few. Being employed as a professional truck driver representing the company, you will be expected to know and obey the road rules, as well as work and act in a professional, safe and courteous manner.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Relevant experience in the industry or similar trucks,
• Have a good work ethic, can-do attitude, professional & polite, flexible & adaptable,
• Desire to work to a high standard, continually improving your own & the company's practices,
• Hold a valid QLD MR or HR truck licence,
• Physically fit – no issues repeatedly climbing safely on/off truck, in/out of cab, etc.
• Have steel cap boots, Hi-vis shirt, safety glasses,
• Neat, tidy and organised – keep truck and equipment clean & organised, ensure loads and trucks look presentable,
• Right to work in Australia, have own transport & well spoken English,
• Reliable and available to work between the hours of 6.00 - 5.00

Job Types: Casual, Full-time

Salary: $27.50 – $37.50 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay
• Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Brisbane, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Truck driving: 2 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• HR Licence (or higher) (Required)
