The Role
We’re looking for sharp, service-driven hospitality professionals to show learners what it takes to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Working from our Collins Street Campus in Hobart, you will be one of our Teachers, showcasing the skills and expertise of working the front of house in our restaurants.
As an expert, you will develop the learners’ knowledge and abilities, demonstrating customer service skills and professional standards required for the fast pace of the bar, restaurant and gaming operations. This is a casual position, working in morning, afternoon and/or evening sessions on any given day.
What you will do:
- Craft lesson plans that cover various front of house techniques
- Evaluate learner skills through practical assessment
- Ensure compliance of classroom, restaurant and bar health and safety, including safe food handling practices
- Provide guidance and feedback to enhance and exceed our learners’ skills
What will you bring
- A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - essential
- Front of House and bar/restaurant experience – essential
- Hospitality qualification/s is desirable
- Current RSA or Gaming license and experience is desirable
- Effective communication, organisation, and ability to guide learners in the industry
A current Working with Vulnerable People registration is required, or the ability to obtain prior to commencement.
