We operate a number of niche websites selling premium airfares, tours, cruises and reward travel including 'RoundAbout Travel', ‘Flat Beds’, ‘QFlyer’, ‘Flat Beds Tour + Cruise’, 'Onboard Luxury' and 'The Well Connected Traveller'. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Travel Consultant to assist with managing the inbox and clients of other Travel Consultants when they are on leave.

The Opportunity

As a talented Travel Consultant, you will be able to drive this key role in our business to ensures we are always providing exceptional service to our clients, but without the usual stress of sales expectations! The key responsibilities are:

Provide email and general support coverage for other Travel Consultants when they are on annual or personal leave, ensuring exceptional service in all interactions with clients and responding within our 1 business day service guarantee.

Occassionally assisting the schedule change team with sending follow-up emails to clients regarding their unactioned schedule changes, or assisting the admin/operations team with tasks ranging from insurance follow-up, general service requests, booking maintenance, pre-departure checks and other general admin tasks.

We are a Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm business so you get to keep your nights and weekends to yourself. The role is full time but there is part-time flexibility for the right candidate to work slightly reduced hours over 5 days.

About You

If you have at least 2 years of international travel consultancy (retail) experience then we want to hear from you! The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Sabre and Tramada (mid-office) or similar and is highly competent as a travel agent working across multiple inboxes/tasks in parallel.

You have a passion for travel with strong knowledge of airfares, airline product and frequent flyer programs. In addition some administrative background and ability to work to set, repetitive tasks is an advantage.

We value excellent problem solving skills, strong communications, great planning / time management skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

And of course we want people who can be themselves at work, noting we are primarily office based so you'd need to be based in Adelaide (not remote).
