APG Workforce is currently seeking a skilled Electrician for a full-time position at our client’s poultry manufacturing facility in Laverton. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a clean, fast-paced food production environment with an industry leader.

You’ll be responsible for electrical installation, maintenance, and repairs to ensure smooth day-to-day operations at the plant. The role requires someone reliable, flexible with start times, and experienced in food or FMCG environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in line with safety and compliance standards
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks
• Collaborate with fitters, contractors, and site management to resolve issues
• Support continuous improvement across production and maintenance
• Maintain compliance with HACCP, ISO, WHS, and the Electricity Safety Act (VIC)

About You

• A-Grade Electrical Licence (mandatory)
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment
• Able to work flexible hours, including occasional early starts (from 4am) and some weekend work
• Proficient in PLC, instrumentation, and fault finding
• Strong communicator, team player, and committed to safe work practices
