About the role

As a Drill Rig Operator at BFG Daracon Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in the subsidence investigation and remediation industry. This full-time position is based in Heatherbrae, NSW, and offers the opportunity to work with the latest equipment and technology to drive the success of our projects.

What you'll be doing

Safely and efficiently operate drill rigs to undertake geotechnical and investigation drilling tasks

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on drill rigs and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance

Interpret geological data, monitor ground conditions and adjust drilling techniques accordingly

Contribute to the completion of project milestones by maintaining high levels of productivity and efficiency

Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

Work collaboratively with the wider construction team to deliver successful project outcomes

What we're looking for

Extensive experience as a Drill Rig Operator with a focus on geotechnical drilling advantageous

Strong technical skills and the ability to operate a variety of drill rigs and associated equipment

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities to adapt to changing site conditions

Commitment to safe work practices and a proven track record of prioritising health and safety

Effective communication skills to liaise with the wider construction team

Minimum Cert III Drill Operations & MR/HR licence required
