Your new career
The Stadium Operation and Recreation team provide a high level of customer service allowing the Surf Coast Shire community to participate and support sport and recreation activities.
What you will bring to the role
We are currently looking for a Duty Officer that has an eye for detail that can adjust to varying work commitments in a multisport environment
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to work independently
- Be reliable and friendly
Key selection criteria
Mandatory qualifications, experience and requirements
- Experience in customer service and dealing with diverse and challenging customers.
- Ability to work independently and multi skill across a range of duties.
- Experience using computer programs, such as a point of sales system, data entry and cash handling.
- Health and safety knowledge and experience with the ability to manage incidents, first aid etc.
- Manual handing knowledge and experience using safe practices.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
- A current Working With Children Check
- You have the permanent right to live and work in Australia
- Police Check results that are suitable for this position (will be arranged by Surf Coast Shire Council).
A complete international criminal history check is required if the person has worked or lived overseas for any period of time OR a complete national criminal history check is required if the person has only ever worked in Australia.
Desirable qualifications and experience
- Experience in a similar role.
- Experience in Workplace Health and Safety.
- Warden qualification.
