We are currently recruiting for a Physiotherapist to work in Wyee - located close to the Central Coast and the Newcastle / Hunter area. Wyee is a small town, located 15 minutes from beautiful beaches and close to the main highway to Sydney and Newcastle. The role would involve working in a residential aged care facility (130 beds). The role is a permanent, Part time position (2-3 days per week) with training and support provided. Here are more details about the role:

• Annual Salary range of $85-95k plus super (FTE)
• Role available to start ASAP
• Permanent role

• Role based in Wyee within a Residential Aged Care Facility

About the organisation:

This organisation have a large team of allied health professionals who work in age care facilities and clinics. They support older people with mobility and health related matters and support organisations across NSW.

Duties:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments under ANACC
• Learning and implementing the new aged care funding model (AN-ACC).
• Overseeing and running group exercise sessions and falls prevention classes alongside physiotherapy aides.
• Delivery of Chronic Pain Management Program
• Implementing and upgrading rehabilitation exercise programs
• Communicating with a greater team of allied health professionals and medical practitioners to coordinate effective courses of treatments
• Delivery of manual handling training competencies

Requirements:

• It is a requirement to be registered with AHPRA
• We are looking for someone with previous age care experience
• We require someone who is currently located in Australia with work rights
