About Us

RPH ED delivers high-quality care to a wide variety of presentations. As the state’s designated trauma centre, we receive a significant number of trauma cases from all cross Western Australia We provide a toxicology service that admits more than 1,500 patients each year and we are actively involved in preventative health strategies such as the Prevent Alcohol and Risk-related Trauma in Youth (PARTY) program. Our ED also participates in a number of research projects to assist in continually improving the treatments available to patients in WA, Australia and around the world. . No two days in a metropolitan Emergency Department are the same - we thrive on challenges and pride ourselves on strong teamwork.

Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Nurse (CN) to join our high-performing team. In this role, you will take an active lead in your CN portfolio and promote excellence in the delivery of evidence-based nursing care, with a strong focus on quality improvement and the ongoing development of the department. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely assessment, treatment, and patient flow, while also supporting junior staff and upholding best practice standards

About You

  • You will be AHPRA Registered.
  • Preferred to have minimum 18 months experience within a tertiary hospital Emergency Department
  • Strong clinical decision-making skills and ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Demonstrate high level of communication, interpersonal skills, and conflict resolution.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • A commitment to patient-centred care and continuous improvement.
