Workfast is seeking a Skilled Trades Assistant for our valued client based in Wangara, WA, offering $41.00 Per Hour, Flat Rate.

What you get:

• $41.00 Per Hour, Flat Rate
• Monday - Friday, 6.00am - 2.00pm
• Immediate Start
• Initial 3-month project with strong potential for extension

What you need:

• Australian Driver's Licence
• Forklift Licence
• Overhead Crane Gantry Experience Preferred
• Ability to interpret and work from mechanical / fabrication drawings *MANDATORY*
• Proven experience using grinders and power tools
  You will be required to perform a GRINDING TEST prior to acceptance *MANDATORY*
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Commitment to safety and attention to detail
• Previous experience in a workshop or industrial maintenance environment is highly regarded

What you will be doing:

• Assist in the maintenance and repair of grizzlies and related mining equipment
• Operating grinders, power tools, and other hand tools safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
• Support tradespeople with various workshop and site-based tasks
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company standards
