About The Role:

Reporting to the Clinical Trials manager, the purpose of the Breast Cancer Clinical Trials Nurse is to assist in the care, safety and coordination of patients participating in Breast Cancer Clinical trials.

• The role involves collecting and recording relevant trial data and working with the principal investigator and sponsors to ensure accurate and timely ethics submissions.
• The role will work as part of a team to improve access to research investment for patients and the institution, through high quality research practice.
• As a resource assigned to research projects, the Clinical trials nurse is required to case manage patients undergoing care within a research project, ensure treatment and data collections in compliance with the protocol, good clinical practice, Australian regulations and privacy laws.

• Relevant clinical experience.
• Relevant clinical trials or Oncology experience.
• Ability to work as a team member and independently.
• Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills.
• Time management skills.
• High-level computer literacy.

In this role you will be based at the Mater hospital, North Sydney.

• One of Sydney's premier private hospitals.
• Close by to train stations at North Sydney, St Leonards, and Crows Nest, and buses on Pacific Highway.

• Core specialties include Obstetrics, Orthopaedics including hip and knee joint replacements, bone and sports injuries, cardiology, cancer care and surgery, lung and vascular medicine, ear, nose and throat surgery, urology, endocrine surgery, and neurosurgery.
