At Playworks OT, we believe children and young people thrive when supported in meaningful ways. We are co-located with psychology, speech pathology and animal-assisted therapy, enabling rich collaboration and holistic care for our clients and their families.
Our shared clinic space includes some amazing features, including a dedicated sensory room, a large group room and a courtyard. It is close to local shops and transport, with the capacity to have regular client sessions in the local community.
What You'll Do
Provide child-led, neuro-affirming, evidence-based OT assessment and therapy.
Support clients to build independence and participation in their daily living skills.
Collaborate with families and educators, and allied health professionals to support participation and success in everyday life.
Manage a flexible case load with access to administrative and clinical support.
What we are looking for
Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration
Minimum of 2 years of experience, with demonstrated competency in Paediatrics (more for Level 3)
Strong clinical reasoning, communication and documentation skills.
A passion for working with neurodivergent children and/or young adults and their families.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working with a children's check and a full Victorian driver's license
Access to own car
What would be great (but not essential)
Registration to provide services under the Better Access Initiative
Interest in specialising in adolescent and young adult clients
Experience working under NDIS, including progress tracking and report writing
Skills in group therapy, parent coaching or telehealth delivery
Supervision or mentoring experience (for Level 3)
Program development or quality improvement (for Level 3)
