I’m currently recruiting for an exciting Health, Safety & Environment Officer role with a major global player in the food manufacturing industry.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity based at their manufacturing site, and it’s a fantastic chance to really take ownership of the HSE function at a plant level. If you're someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves working cross-functionally, and knows how to turn compliance into culture, this one's for you.

Here’s what the role looks like:

You’ll be responsible for driving and supporting all things HSE—planning, coordinating, implementing, and continuously improving systems and initiatives. From ensuring compliance with ISO standards and WHS legislation, to participating in audits, training, inductions and incident investigations, you’ll have a real impact on the safety culture of the site. You’ll also play a key part in food safety practices across raw materials, packaging, and finished product—so experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment is going to give you a real edge.

What they're looking for:

• A degree in OHS, Environmental Science or a similar field
• Relevant WHS certifications (Cert IV)
• Previous experience in an HSE role within manufacturing—ideally food or FMCG
• Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and ISO standards (9001, 22000, 45001, etc.)
• A hands-on, solutions-focused approach
• Solid communication skills—you’ll be liaising with teams across the board
• SAP is a bonus!
