About the role

LSG Construction is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated 3rd or 4th year Apprentice Carpenter to join our team in. As a full-time apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced carpenters and gain hands-on experience in all aspects of residential construction.

What you'll be doing

Assisting experienced carpenters with the construction of various building projects.

Exposure to all areas of domestic carpentry, All our work is start to finish projects meaning you'll be involved with the project from set out throw to handover.

Learning how to read and interpret building plans and specifications

Developing skills in the use of hand and power tools

Ability to follow direction and work both independently and in a team

Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures

What we're looking for

A keen interest in the construction industry and a desire to learn the carpentry trade

Basic knowledge of all stages of domestic carpentry

Strong work ethic, punctuality, and good attitude on site

Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions

Willingness to learn and take on new challenges

Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment
