About the role

As a Delivery Driver (MR) at Our Town Fencing, you will be responsible for delivering fencing materials and products to our customers south to Macksville and north to the Ballina and across to Lismore. This role is essential in ensuring our clients receive their orders in a timely and efficient manner. You will be operating a medium rigid (MR) vehicle to transport goods to both residential and commercial worksites.

What you'll be doing

Safely operating a medium rigid (MR) vehicle to transport fencing materials and products to customer locations

Loading and unloading vehicles, ensuring goods are secured and undamaged

Providing excellent customer service, including communicating with customers and resolving any delivery-related issues

Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, including delivery run sheets and collecting delivery signatures.

Assisting with general warehouse duties

What we're looking for

A current medium rigid (MR) driver's licence

Forklift licence is a must

Experience in a delivery driver or similar role, preferably within the fencing or construction industry

Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients

Excellent time management and organisational abilities

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety

The physical capability to load and unload vehicles
