We are seeking a qualified and registered teacher to teach Bahasa Indonesian in either the Primary School (PP–Year 6) or Secondary School (Years 7–12). Both primary and secondary specialists are encouraged to apply.

This is a part-time (0.8 FTE) to full-time (1.0 FTE) ongoing position, commencing January 2026.

Key responsibilities include:

Planning engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons

Using effective assessment tools and tracking progress via SEQTA

Creating inclusive, supportive learning environments

Building positive relationships with students, staff, and families

Participating in staff meetings, curriculum events, and parent-teacher interviews

The Candidates

The successful candidates will:

Have a teaching degree and be qualified in teaching Bahasa Indonesian

Have the ability to teach Bahasa Indonesian in either Primary (PP-Year 6) or Secondary (Years 7-12)

Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and teaching practices

Hold a current TRBWA registration;

Have a good knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum; and

Exhibit excellent classroom management skills.
