We’re looking for a Frontend Developer with solid experience in React and TypeScript to help us build and improve web applications that interact with AWS services.

This is a mid-level role suited for someone who’s confident writing production-ready code, comfortable working with data, and interested in being part of a small, collaborative team. Our office is just a short walk from the beach, we keep things relaxed (no dress code), and we focus on getting meaningful work done.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript

• Build interactive map features using Mapbox

• Work closely with backend systems built on AWS, including Lambda, DynamoDB, and Athena

• Collaborate with Django-based backend services and help shape frontend/backend integrations

• Understand business needs and help translate them into reliable, user-friendly features

• Communicate with product owners and non-technical users to gather and refine requirements

• Use data from both NoSQL (DynamoDB) and SQL-based tools like Athena to power the frontend

What We’re Looking For

• 2–4 years of experience in frontend development, including React, TypeScript, and preferably Next.js

• Solid experience with Mapbox for building interactive maps and spatial interfaces

• Experience working with AWS services, especially Lambda, S3, and API Gateway

• Comfortable querying data from DynamoDB and writing SQL queries (Athena or similar)

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with people outside of engineering

• Proficiency with Git, version control, and standard development workflows

Nice to Have

• Experience with GraphQL (either writing or consuming APIs)

• Familiarity with AWS CDK

• Understanding of IoT-related services

• Interest in performance tuning, monitoring, and writing helpful internal documentation
