About the role
Nighthawk Transport is seeking experienced MC (Multi-Combination) Drivers to join our team in Darwin and Katherine, NT.

As a casual MC Driver, you will play a crucial role in our road transport operations, delivering essential goods and services throughout the region. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong commitment to safety and a passion for the transport industry.

What you'll be doing

Completion of Rapid Inductions online and acknowledgement to all WHS standards and compliance, including medical assessment and drug and alcohol testing

Safely operating and manoeuvring MC-class vehicles, including prime movers, semi-trailers, and road trains

Transporting a variety of cargo, including general freight, dangerous goods, and oversized loads

Adhering to all relevant road transport regulations, safety procedures, and company policies

Completing pre-start vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness

Maintaining accurate log books and other required compliance documentation

Providing excellent customer service and working collaboratively with the broader transport team

What we're looking for

A current MC driver's licence with a clean driving record

Extensive experience (minimum 2 years) operating MC-class vehicles in the road transport industry

Strong knowledge of road transport regulations, including fatigue management and load restraint

Excellent communication and customer service skills

A non-negotiable commitment to workplace health and safety

The ability to work independently and as part of a team
