About the Role:
Atlas Partners has partnered with a nationally recognised and people-centric accounting and advisory firm to recruit a Senior Accountant into their Business Advisory division.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accountant who is looking to consolidate their technical skillset, step into a leadership-oriented role, and gain hands-on exposure to a broad range of clients — from fast-growing businesses to family groups.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare clear and accurate work papers and financial statements in accordance with legal and accounting standards.
• Analyse financial records to determine profitability, asset/liability positions, and tax liabilities.
• Prepare income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
• Provide tax advice on GST, CGT, FBT, and assist in broader business advisory services.
• Attend client meetings and assist in developing meaningful client relationships.
• Mentor junior team members and assist in their development.
• Assist in resolving complex technical issues and improving internal work processes.

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years’ experience in a public practice or business advisory role.
• Business / Commerce degree with an Accounting major.
• CA/CPA qualification (or near completion).
• Strong tax and accounting technical expertise.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and collaborative with a proactive mindset.
