We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our client's team in Wangara. This role primarily focuses on the maintenance, repair, and servicing of valves across various industrial applications. Description
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose issues and carry out troubleshooting tasks to ensure proper valve functionality.
- Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble valves, ensuring high-quality repair and refurbishment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, ensuring valves are working to manufacturer specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schematics to guide your work.
- Collaborate with other team members to perform efficient installations and repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following all safety and quality standards.
- Must be safety oriented.
Profile
Essential Requirements:
- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or equivalent (not essential, if high level of experience)
- Proven experience working with valves in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of valve types, maintenance techniques, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Previous experience in the oil & gas or mining sectors (not essential, but highly desirable)
