Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a HDR Advisor, Admission and Scholarships to join Office of Research Services, Research Portfolio, Academic Division.
We're seeking an experienced administrative professional to join our Admissions and Scholarships team. The ideal candidate would have experience working within a busy University admissions team. The ideal candidate would thrive in a busy, deadline driven environment, and have a high attention to detail.

The Graduate Research Centre provides exceptional service and support to our Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students. Through the provision of tailored support services, the GRC puts the student at the centre of all that we do, striving to exceed the expectations of our HDR students and supervisors from admission through to graduation..
What you need to succeed
- Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to the completion of a degree with at least four years relevant work experience.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively, to achieve team based outcomes, manage resources and prioritise workloads in order to meet deadlines in an environment of competing demands.
- Proven digital literacy including database administration related to admission and completion and advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
- High level analytical and problem solving skills including the ability to interpret, apply knowledge and provide advice on relevant legislation and complex policy and procedure.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and negotiate outcomes with a diverse range of stakeholders on scholarships and admission matters applying a high degree of confidentiality and sensitivity.
- Demonstrated written communication skills with the ability to prepare a range of complex documents and reports for a diverse audience.
