About the role

Wollongong Contemporary Tiling is seeking a skilled and experienced Qualified Tiler to join our team on a full-time basis. WCT is a a proud small business built on quality workmanship, friendly service, and a genuine love for what we do.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and tiling floors, walls, and other surfaces using a variety of tile types and fixing methods

Reading and interpreting plans, and specifications to understand job requirements

Using tile-cutting tools to accurately shape and trim tiles for edges, corners, fittings, and pipework

Mixing and applying adhesives, grouts, and sealants using appropriate tools and techniques

Applying waterproofing systems in line with Australian standards

Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety

Collaborating with other tradespeople to coordinate project timelines and requirements

Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with clients

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Wall & Floor Tiling

Current driver's license

White card

Contractors license

Ability to work independently, managing your own time and tasks

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work (MUST)

Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications

Excellent time management and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and customer service skills
