Heyne’s Wholesale Nursery is seeking an experienced truck driver for local transportation of plants around Adelaide metro and surrounding suburbs. We are offering a full-time position (38hrs plus reasonable overtime) based at our nursery in Burton.

What you'll do

Transportation of plants to customers

Some manual labour involved (loading/unloading)

General nursery duties – potting, pruning, stacking etc.

Identify and report hazards or safety issues

Assist with ad hoc or project work as required

Carry out routine checks

General truck cleaning

What we're looking for

Current MR drivers’ licence

Previous experience as a local driver

Sound geographical knowledge of Adelaide and surrounds

Punctual and reliable

Good physical fitness

Positive and professional attitude

Ability to work in a team as well as autonomously

Ability and willingness to follow instructions

Strong communication skills

Practical approach to maintenance problem solving
