Ardent Medical is a general practice group that provides primary care and general practice services to the Australian aged care sector. We are currently seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners to join our telehealth team and support our General Practitioners and provide care to patients under our care in Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACFs).

This role will see the successful candidate:

work collaboratively with our Senior Medical Officer and General Practitioners.

provide primary care services which may include:

taking medical history

undertaking clinical examination

arranging any necessary investigations

implementing a management plan

providing appropriate preventive health care

contribute to health assessments and medication management for new resident admissions

prepare annual health assessment reviews for existing residents.

conduct regular reviews and follow ups with aged care residents through telehealth attendance.

The successful candidate:

is registered with AHPRA and endorsed as a Nurse Practitioner

is presently permitted to work in Australia

is able to apply for a Medicare provider number

must have their own professional indemnity insurance (a copy of your policy must be provided to Ardent Medical for record purposes).

a great attitude and able to work in collaboration with our Senior Medical officer.

is committed to the company and a team player.

has basic computer knowledge and good social / communication skills.
