About the Role:
Canberra Health Services (CHS) is looking for an experienced, forward thinking and dynamic team leader pharmacist to lead our clinical pharmacy services within the Division of Surgery. This role requires working on site and will provide leadership to a team of on site and remote working clinical pharmacists to deliver exceptional clinical pharmacy services to meet the ever-increasing demand of a rapidly growing population in the ACT. This is a unique opportunity for someone with the right leadership skills and creative thinking to enhance care.
The position offered is permanent full time. Part time applications will also be considered for individuals who have flexible working needs in line with the ACT Public Sector Health Professional Enterprise Agreement. Shift working is a requirement for the role. Applications will also be considered for candidates who have a valid work visa in place.
The department runs a successful AdPha accredited residency program, an excellent intern training program and is accredited for several AdPha Registrar Training Programs. We are a progressive, forward-thinking department, having introduced credentialed accuracy checking technician roles, implemented Partnered Pharmacist Medication Charting on the main Canberra Hospital site in Garran and a successful remote clinical pharmacy service model.
