At St Stephen’s OSHC, we offer a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children before and after school, as well as during school holidays up to 150 children.

Our services are built on nurturing, fostering creativity, and encouraging children to develop social, emotional, and cognitive skills through fun, educational, and structured activities. Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Coordinator in the day-to-day operations of the service, including:

• Program planning, delivery, and documentation
• Staff rostering and supervision
• Administration and financial management tasks (e.g. fee collection)
• Assist in the delivery of a high quality, inclusive, educational program
• Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment
• Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
• Participate in professional and personal development
• Consent to be the Responsible Person on site in the absence of the coordinator.
• Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values of Centacare Child Care Services

Job Requirements:

• An ACECQA-approved school-age qualification, including studies in education, community services, health, therapy, sports, or creative arts.
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis
• Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework and National Law/Regulations
• Experience in the education and care of children.
• Effective computer skills including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred)
• Effective workplace communication and leadership skills
