We are currently seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to support our NDIS clients living within their own private homes in suburbs such as Coopers Plains, Cannon Hill, Moorooka, Runcorn, Sunnybank andsurrounding South Brisbane suburbs.

What we can offer you:

• Pay rates starting from $33.41 ($34.46 starting pay rate if you have a relevant Cert IV) + penalties + loadings.
• 12% superannuation (higher than the statutory 11.5%).
• Increase your take home (net) pay by salary packaging up to $18,550 p.a. which can cover your everyday living expenses and bills (up to $15,900 p.a.) and meal entertainment (up to $2,650 p.a.).

Overview of the role:

• Deliver in-home and community-based support tailored to individual needs.
• Provide assistance with personal care routines and complex care tasks, including hoisting and other manual handling.
• Support clients with high care needs such as PEG feeding, bowel care and mealtime management.
• Support clients that require shifts covered in the morning, afternoon and overnight (both sleepover and active night).
• Use your own insured vehicle to transport clients to appointments, programs or social outings.

What you need:

• Completed, or currently enrolled, in an industry relevant Certificate III qualification or higher (desirable)
• Minimum of three (3) months, paid employment experience in a Support Worker, Care Worker, Nursing role OR completed 120 placement hours
• Australian Working Rights
• Australian Driver's License
• Qld Motor Vehicle Registration
• Provide First Aid Statement of Attainment
• Provide CPR Statement of Attainment
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to apply)
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willing to undertake)
• Blue Card (or willing to apply)
• Australian Criminal History Check (or willing to apply)
