Our Executive team is the highest decision-making body, responsible for ensuring the Institute operates in the most effective and efficient way. We now have an exciting opportunity for an Executive Assistant to provide high level support to our Deputy Director of Research, Director of Innovation and Impact, and Director of Partnerships and Engagement.
The Executive Assistant will play an integral role in maintaining the Institute’s reputation through effective planning, communication and execution of key tasks. This role will also collaborate and communicate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Preparing and formatting documentation including correspondence, board and executive reports.
Managing all phone and email requests, prioritising urgent matters and actioning accordingly.
Extensive diary management including organising complex meetings and commitments.
Event and travel management, including booking flights, accommodation and catering.
Preparation of executive agenda, papers, minutes and actions to allocated committees as required.
Conveniently located at Perth Children’s Hospital, this full-time position will be offered on an ongoing basis.
About You
This diverse and dynamic role will suit someone with excellent communication skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced, complex environment managing multiple priorities whilst interacting at senior levels of the Institute with confidence.
Along with this, your application must also be able to demonstrate the following:
Demonstrated experience providing high level administrative support to an Executive or senior leadership team.
Exceptional organisational skills, prioritising administrative tasks and systems, including managing competing tasks efficiently and ensuring deadlines are met under pressure.
A high level of attention to detail and the ability to show initiative and creativity in problem solving.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong internal and external relationships.
