About the Role:

As the Assistant Depot Manager you will play a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows, and maintaining high safety and compliance standards. You will also lead and motivate a team to drive productivity and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing depot operations, including logistics, inventory, and team performance
• Lead, coach, and develop a team to meet operational targets
• Maintain high safety, environmental, and compliance standards
• Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and sustainability
• Ensure customer service excellence and effective stakeholder communication

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within logistics, warehousing, recycling, or a similar environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations
• Problem-solving ability and a hands-on approach to operations
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to obtain a forklift licence (or currently hold one)
