About the role

Mawson Lakes Physiotherapy is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our dedicated team and who is keen to make the role their own! As a Physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their overall health and well-being. What you'll be doing

Conducting comprehensive physiotherapy assessments to identify clients' individual needs from private paying clients, DVA, MVA, NDIS, Workcover, EPC and Community Aged Care

Developing and implementing customised treatment plans in conjunction with clients to help them manage pain, improve mobility, and achieve their rehabilitation goals

Providing hands-on physiotherapy treatments your way, with the likes of manual therapy techniques, exercise prescription, the use of modalities, hydrotherapy, gym programmes, home visits

Educating clients on self-management strategies and providing guidance on lifestyle modifications to support their recovery

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to client care

Maintaining detailed client records and contributing to the ongoing development of our physiotherapy services

What we're looking for

Degree in Physiotherapy from Australia and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Minimum of 3 years' post-graduate experience in a clinical physiotherapy setting within Australia

Excellent clinical assessment and treatment skills, with a strong understanding of evidence-based physiotherapy practices

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work with clients

Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and multi-task

Commitment to continuous professional development and a desire to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Qualified and experienced in Dry Needling or willing to obtain would also be beneficial
