(Australian Mining Construction Services) AMCS Traffic is experiencing a strong period of growth due to a substantial increase in project demand and the onboarding of several new clients. As a result, we are expanding our workforce and are currently seeking highly experienced Traffic Controllers to join our professional and safety-driven team.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS) accurately and confidently in accordance with Austroads Guidelines and Australian Standards

Maintain clear and professional communication with site supervisors, contractors, clients, and the general public

Ensure the safe and efficient operation of company vehicles and equipment

Represent AMCS Traffic with professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude at all times

Operate effectively as part of both small and large teams across various work environments

Essential Qualifications & Requirements:

Valid Work Zone Traffic Management Accreditation (SA)

Construction Industry White Card

Current Driver’s Licence (manual driving capability preferred)

Minimum of 2 years’ verifiable industry experience in traffic control

Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing conditions, locations, and client expectations

Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol Screening

Commitment to safety, punctuality, and professional presentation

Highly Regarded (Desirable) Attributes:

First Aid Certification (HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid)

Proven conflict resolution and problem-solving capabilities

Consistently high standards in grooming, presentation, and personal conduct
